The evil that is the Zionist state of Israel

Rifaat Radwan, a Palestinian medic working for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), murdered on March 23rd by the ZOF while responding to an Israeli airstrike in Rafah

At the April 7th news conference on his second trip to Trump’s White House since January, war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu showed what an accomplished liar he is:

We’re committed to getting all the hostages out, but also eliminating the evil tyranny of Hamas in Gaza and enabling the people of Gaza to freely make a choice to go wherever they want. I mean, they should have that choice. And the president put forward a vision, a bold vision, which we discussed as well, including the countries that might be amenable and are amenable to accepting Palestinians … have their free choice if they choose to go there.

He doesn’t want to free the remaining hostages, but kill them. As long as any remain alive, Hamas has some leverage. So the Zionist Offensive Force (ZOF) is doing its best to finish them off to free Israel to complete the genocide and make way for the nightmare of a ‘Greater Israel.’

But the Palestinians don’t want to go anywhere. Since they don’t have the ‘free choice’ to remain on their own land, where would they go? Which countries would accept them? Egypt, Jordan, Somalia, Europe, the US?

And Trump, the New York real estate developer, demonstrated his profound ignorance and lack of empathy:

Well, you know how I feel about the Gaza Strip. I think it’s an incredible piece of important real estate…. The level of death on the Gaza Strip is just incredible. And I’ve said it. I don’t understand why Israel ever gave it up. Israel owned it. It wasn’t this man, so I can say it. He wouldn’t have given it. I know him pretty well. There’s no way. They took ocean-front property and they gave it to people for peace. How did that work out? Not good.

Israel never “owned” Palestinian land but stole it and is illegally occupying it. The Palestinians in Gaza, the descendants of the refugees from the 1948 Nakba, have been imprisoned by Israel in an open air concentration camp and are being systematically murdered and starved. This can only happen because the US government eagerly provides money, weapons and bipartisan political support to the Zionist state.

The daily atrocities committed by Israel are mind-numbing, but the lame stream media shrugs them off. Israel has managed to normalise genocide, the logical end point of Zionism.

But one incident did manage to cut through the tedium of mass murder. The discovery last week of the bodies of 15 Palestinian medics and emergency workers from the Red Crescent who were murdered on March 23rd as they raced to rescue Palestinians in Rafah who were being bombed by the ZOF.

Israel initially claimed the aid convoy had “suspiciously” approached the ZOF with their lights off, but footage of the attack shows the ambulances had their lights on when ZOF troops opened fire. A harrowing cellphone video of the attack was recorded by a paramedic who was inside one of the ambulances and was the last to be murdered.

His name was Rifaat Radwan. He recorded these last words:

Forgive me, Mama, forgive me… I chose this path to help people.

The 15 bodies, along with an ambulance that the ZOF had flattened, were buried in a sandy grave. Their hands and legs had been tied and they had 20 gunshot wounds (each) to the head and chest.

Philippe Lazzarini, head of the U.N. agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), said the bodies had been "discarded in shallow graves - a profound violation of human dignity". The total number of aid workers murdered since the onset of the genocide is at least 408.

The sadism of the ZOF stands in stark contrast to the heroism of the Red Crescent rescuers. The ZOF is the worst of humanity and the Gazans are the best of humanity.

The west is tolerating genocide because Zionists have infiltrated governments, academic institutions, the media, and corporations at the highest levels. Meta has hired over 100 ZOF officers which explains its ruthless censorship of anti-genocide content.

Zionism spawned from European settler colonialism, which regarded people with darker skin and/or a different religion as less than human, and, ironically, resembles Nazism. The only way to stop the killing is for decent people to speak out against this violent, racist and destructive ideology, whose stated goal is to displace, murder and ethnically cleanse a people from the land they’ve lived for thousands of years.
