The lamentable David Lammy has rushed to Washington DC to meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for crisis talks about the latest illegal Israeli-instigated war, against Iran. If the US decides to plunge into this morass, it will want to use the UK-controlled air base at Diego Garcia to launch bombers for which it needs the UK’s permission.
Rubio has been funded by the Zionist entity for years, so he’ll be pressuring Lammy and Starmer to fall into line.
Not everyone is gung-ho on another Middle East war. Attorney General for England and Wales, Lord Hermer, has questioned the legality of Israel’s attack and cautioned that any UK involvement in the conflict should be limited to defensive support. His legal advice has not been published.
Mirror deputy editor Kevin Maguire told Richard Madeley that the UK has learned nothing from the Iraq debacle and is in danger of repeating the same mistakes.
But most of the lame stream media is parroting Netanyahu’s decades-long lies that Iran is on the verge of developing nuclear weapons.
This despite that fact that in March, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard testified to Congress that Iran was not building a nuclear weapon, a position the Intelligence Community (IC) has held since 2007. She reported that Iran is at least 3 years away from a nuclear bomb - once they decide to develop one - and there’s no indication that they have. She stated bluntly:
The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamenei has not authorised the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003.
Nevertheless, Trump seems intent on marching the US into yet another disastrous war on the orders of his Zionist handlers. On June 17th, Trump dismissed Gabbard’s intelligence assessment:
I don’t care what she said. I think they [Iran] were very close to having one.
Isn’t it interesting that Israel struck Iran just after the launch of a key segment of China’s New Silk Road, which conveniently skirts the US-controlled canal and sea routes?
What this war is really about is eliminating Iran’s geo-economic threat to US hegemony. Israel is key to maintaining US dominance in the Middle East which is why Iran has to be taken down. The fictional nukes are a red herring.
The real nuclear danger isn’t Iran - it’s Israel.
The Open Secret - Israel has had Nuclear Weapons for 60 years
The open secret which no one talks about is that the Zionist entity has had nuclear weapons since the 1960s. In 1957 it obtained technology from France to build the Dimona nuclear power plant which it used to produce weapons grade plutonium (the US didn’t find out about Dimona until 1960).
Ben Gurion lied to President Kennedy about Dimona’s purpose, assuring him it was entirely peaceful.
Kennedy strongly opposed Israel getting the bomb because he feared it would lead to nuclear proliferation and destabilise the Middle East. On May 18, 1963, he wrote to Ben Gurion:
We are concerned with the disturbing effects on world stability which would accompany the development of a nuclear weapons capability by Israel. I cannot imagine that the Arabs would refrain from turning to the Soviet Union for assistance if Israel were to develop a nuclear weapons capability--with all the consequences this would hold. But the problem is much larger than its impact on the Middle East. Development of a nuclear weapons capability by Israel would almost certainly lead other larger countries, that have so far refrained from such development, to feel that they must follow suit.
From 1957-1978 more than 300 kilograms of highly enriched uranium (HEU) from a nuclear fuel manufacturing plant in Apollo, Pennsylvania, went missing. In 1978, the US Comptroller General issued a scathing report that concluded the CIA, DOE and FBI sabotaged their own investigations into the missing uranium - for whose benefit, do you suppose?
The NUMEC (Nuclear Materials and Equipment Corporation) incident and its associated 13-year investigation highlight this country’s current inability to effectively deal with possible diversions of nuclear material…The United States needs to improve its efforts for effectively responding to and investigating incidents of missing or unaccounted for weapons-grade nuclear materials…We believe a timely, concerted effort on the part of these…agencies would have greatly aided and possibly solved the NUMEC diversion questions, if they desired.
Israel’s cover was fully blown in 1986, when a former Israeli nuclear technician, Mordechai Vanunu, revealed details of Tel Aviv’s nuclear weapons program to the UK media. He was arrested by Mossad and sentenced to 18 years in prison where he was held for the majority of the time in solitary confinement.
Since Vanunu’s release in 2004, Israel has restricted his speech and movement and rearrested him numerous times for violating his parole. His treatment has been condemned by Amnesty International.
So, when the US joins the genocidal Zionist entity in its criminal war against Iran and requests the UK’s assistance, I expect that Starmer, like Blair before him, will meekly comply.
If the world survives the coming storm, US hegemony will be over - as will the Zionist entity.
WMD V2.0? Is anyone foolish enough to believe the made up story this time? :-(
Brilliant piece, Leah.
