I wrote this yesterday and wanted to say Rishi Sunak’s announcement that the General Election will take place on July 4th with the likely outcome that English Labour will form the next government doesn’t mean there will be a material change to UK foreign or domestic policy under Sir Keir. The English Labour and Conservative parties have essentially fused into the “uni-party.” Both are funded and controlled by the same corporate and foreign [Israel] lobbies. Scotland’s only hope is to find a way out of this execrable union as soon as possible.
Iain Livingstone, former Police Scotland chief, is chairing Gordon Brown’s mega foodbank project - Multibank - to help the poor in Scotland, a nation with so much natural wealth that not a single person should be living in poverty. Brown has even roped in Amazon to chip in with some of its unsold stuff.
The Multibank Project is positively Victorian, relying on corporation castoffs. Does Brown ever stop to think that poverty in Scotland exists because we are ruled by a foreign government that routinely steals and sells off our wealth to private corporations?
Not only is Westminster plundering billions of Scottish renewables to power England, but it’s also, with the cooperation of the Scottish colonial administration, creating 18 Special Economic Zones (SEZs) that are privately owned and governed. SEZs set their own regulations and are outside Holyrood and UK government jurisdiction. Think of them as mini-sovereign fiefdoms. Jeremy Hunt has declared them tax-exempt for 10 years.
SEZs cover life sciences, renewable energy and manufacturing and are located in the Western Isles, Orkney, the Highlands, Dundee, Edinburgh, West Lothian, North Lankarkshire, Midlothian and Ayrshire, including the Forth and Inverness and Cromarty Firth ‘green freeports’. SEZs are regulation-free, money-laundering corporate tax havens. Scotland is being ‘corporatised’ yet no one is telling the Scottish People, least of all Gordon Brown.
This wouldn’t be happening had Scotland remained within the EU, where SEZs are closely regulated. Brexit enabled this corporate dystopia. And English Labour is fully on board. Senior Labour MPs just returned from a US trip where they met with the right-wing Heritage Foundation, funded by the Koch Brothers, to discuss a US trade deal that will undoubtedly include a deal to finish the job on NHS privatisation.
The sovereign Scottish People must terminate the union - now.
I knew Free Ports will be a disaster for Scotland but did not realise SEZs will be so numerous. Will any part of Scotland be left after all this?
Gordon Brown's version of Victorian Charity is an insult to the people of a resource rich country aVTs us Amazon's offer to chip in with some of the cash it saves by not paying taxes.
As more of this information is made public, more people are going to get very angry and, I hope they will refuse their consent, even if our own government in Edinburgh is happy to allow this to happen.
I know Salvo are warning those involved in Free Ports that they are illegal in Scotland as the people own the land and its resources but we need to get that fact out also as well as the all but forgotten laws behind it. More folk need to know about the Right of the Scottish Crown and the Claim of Right and how we have been robbed an plundered over the centuries, though never as blatantly as this.
If the coming election result is that Scotland loses its current majority of Scots MPs claiming to be in favour of Independence, the Unionists will seize the chance to go even further and that seems quite likely now. I'm not sure if the SNP will actually put Scottish Independence in their manifesto, but it's too late, and was never meant seriously.
Our future as a country looks bleak!
