The Helsinki Deposition

Dr. Aseem Malhotra exposes Big Pharma's corporate capture of government and the medical profession

Dr. Andrew Docherty shared with me a court deposition delivered earlier this month in Helsinki, Finland by consultant cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra on how the medical profession and western governments have been captured by private pharmaceutical companies, known collectively as “Big Pharma.” The danger of this corporate capture has been exposed in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic, where mounting evidence reveals that the mRNA vaccines that were administered to billions of people were never “safe and effective.” I asked Dr. Docherty to write a short introduction to Dr. Malhotra’s testimony.

As a natural born contrarian, critic, sceptic and occasional cynic, I experience a frisson when there’s an opportunity to expose fraud, stupidity and cupidity in my own profession. I obtained my expertise and insights into the arrogance and greed of an influential minority at various points in my medical career when I failed to speak truth to power. When I retired and had time to reflect upon my decades in the NHS, I resolved never again to ignore my own cognitive dissonance in order to conform to dodgy orthodoxy at the expense of my moral fibre even if it would result in ostracism or persecution.

There’s an urgent need, supported by growing evidence, to hold “Big Pharma” to account for the great suffering it has caused because medical practitioners allowed it, along with Big Tech, Big Agri and Big Government, into the sacred interface between physician and patient.

There was a ”Deposition” recently given in a Helsinki courtroom on April 12th by the internationally renowned cardiologist Dr. Asseem Malhotra. (The deposition starts at 01.25.)

A graduate of the medical school at the University of Edinburgh, Dr. Malhotra is one of the world’s most influential and charismatic public health experts. Following his own damascene epiphany, he is leading the world in challenging the culture of research fraud, Big Pharma’s capture of government and regulatory bodies, and the vested interests among certain medical “experts” and clinicians that has led to the adulteration of a once noble vocation.

In this “Helsinki Deposition”, Dr. Malhotra sets out a timeline of the consequences of allowing a for-profit pharmaceutical firm with a long history of unscientific research methodology and a criminal history of billions of dollars of damages awarded in US courts in compensation for harm done by its products, to inoculate, with legal immunity, billions of people, young and old, with its under-researched experimental genetic intervention which neither stopped Covid infection nor prevented its transmission. This was done despite international appeals for restraint by the crème de la crème of respected academics.

For our sakes but especially for that of our children and grandchildren, please listen to Dr. Malhotra as he recounts the politically driven medical response to the “pandemic,” and share it with your family, friends and colleagues.

By doing so, you will be participating in the first stirrings of a worldwide movement to emancipate the health and wellbeing of humanity from corporate fraud and greed. The true leaders of the medical profession are people like Dr Malhotra. They are keeping alive the flame of Hippocrates, who exhorted his students to embrace the principle “Primum non nocere”….. First, above all, Do no harm!

Finally, our national bard, Robert Burns, should serve as inspiration to all the reformers of Scotland’s current politically and socially parlous state and strengthen physicians’ resolve to act in the best interests of their patients and not in those of the corporations who have captured so much of their profession.
