If I was being very very cynical I might think that colonial governor Murray wants Grangemouth to close, in order to make Scotland more dependent on England.
You're not being at all cynical. He's a loyal British Empire Viceroy and will screw the colonials while at the same time sending them his propaganda bromides. Case in point, this just landed in my inbox today (my question is what award was he given for this drivel?):
Ian Murray MP's Award-Winning eMagazine September 2024
Welcome to my award-winning eMagazine looking back at September 2024.
It's been a busy month with Parliament returning after summer recess, the Labour Party conference and a lot going on in and around the south of Edinburgh.
This edition contains updates on my work in Edinburgh South and beyond, news from Westminster and the constituency noticeboard.
If you work for or with any community organisations you may also find the 'Grants and Funding' section useful.
As ever, please let me know if there are any events you would like advertised in my newsletter, or if you would like to publish a guest article.
Please do feel free to get in touch if there is anything else I can assist with.

Have you tried sending him a guest article or forwarding one of those from here?
I doubt he would print anything from you as it would be the wrong message in his eyes!
