The UK ratified the Rome Statute and therefore is under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, (unlike Israel and the United States.) Therefore, those members of the UK government responsible for being complicit in genocide can be prosecuted. This would include Sunak, Starmer and their foreign secretaries.

The First Minister of Scotland, John Swinney, should, as the representative of Scotland, write to the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICC requesting that they initiate an investigation of these people.

He won’t of course. He is a manager who lacks leadership skills. He does not see this as an opportunity to both take the moral high ground and to create a powerful and popular split between Westminster and Holyrood.

I've had no reply from my Tory genocide-supporting MP either. I'm calling the FCDO daily and today they confirmed they have not received any update or information to pass on to members of the public. They are receiving hundreds of calls and emails. So far there is no official statement from the UK government https://www.gov.uk/search/news-and-communications far less any action

This is outside UK jurisdiction. And your MP will only give you the party line answer. Perhaps you should also write to the Israeli, Quatari, Turkish ambassadors for their views of this to see if they can set all to rights as you expect the UK to do here. I would think the UK aircraft was making sure that Israel did not ‘attack’ the Madleen, but collecting evidence of any ‘war crime’ that may be committed. There are plenty of Palestinians like Jews living outside this area of the globe and genocide usually indicates a ‘wiping out of the entire type of people’ eg Yzidizs. So not the case here. Interestingly, Palestinian people living within Israel are known as Arabs and are neither queuing to live in the West Bank, Jordan, Syria or Lebanon. They seem content to live in a democratic Israel.

Israel have occupied Palestine for a long time, too long. They are committing heinous crimes against the people of Palestine how on Earth ypu can justify that is mind boggling. It's a known fact UkEng aircraft have been aiding Israel in their assault on the people with English UK govs' aircraft, were they there to protect the people of the flotilla? Well maybe but only because the world was and is watching very closely indeed.

You say 'type' of people, wow, how humane, not! Othering is classic tactic of oppression and dvide and rule.

As for your last claim, perhaps the people don't want to leave what is their own land, no matter how much you pretend otherwise. Sigh.

So you do not believe that Hitler and his Nazis committed genocide by murdering hundreds of thousands Jews, because they failed to wipe out the entirety of the Jewish ✡️ people? If Netanyahu doesn't entirely wipe out the Palestinians, will you just consider him and his murdering army... failures, also?

this was a UK-flagged vessel in international waters and therefore the UK government was legally obliged to protect it.
